‘Millie’s Book’ Earns $1 Million for First Dog
Associated Press
Millie, the Bush family dog, is now a millionaire--at least vicariously.
President Bush revealed Wednesday that “Millie’s Book” has generated $1.1 million in royalties for the nonprofit Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.
The droll book, filled with pictures of the English springer spaniel with politicians and celebrities, was a best-seller for seven months last autumn and winter.
