‘A Play’ to Play: A Terrence McNally farce about an opening night on Broadway, “It’s Only a Play,” has filled the only up-for-grabs slot in the Ahmanson at the Doolittle season. It will play from April 16-June 28, joining “The Most Happy Fella” (Oct. 17-Dec. 29), August Wilson’s “Two Trains Running” (Jan. 16-March 29) and Neil Simon’s “Lost in Yonkers” (July 16-Sept. 27) at Hollywood’s Doolittle Theatre.
