CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : MENLO PARK : State Water Supply Still Below Normal

Water levels in key streams, reservoirs and ground wells remain below normal throughout drought-stricken California, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The agency’s hydrologists monitored five key streams. The flows ranged from 40% below normal on the Arroyo Seco east of Pasadena to 10% below normal on the Smith River near Crescent City.
