Many thanks for the June 30 stories covering the Civil War, Valley Forge, the Outlaw Trail, etc. It long has been my belief that America should be proud of its heritage and take an interest in saving these landmarks before the encroachment of developers.
Let’s see America first. Spend some of that cash currently going overseas to help preserve and protect, as well as, hopefully, learn from the mistakes. We must look to the past for our heroes today. Lincoln, Grant and Lee are true national treasures.
