Lemon Grove Struck by Electrical Outage
An outage in Lemon Grove left about 4,500 SDG&E; customers without power Monday night. An SDG&E; spokesman called the blackout, which occurred at 8:22 p.m., “a major power outage.”
SDG&E; spokesman Tom Murnane said power was restored to all but about 1,100 customers by 10:30 p.m. and that the source of the outage was found to be and underground cable on Palm Street.
Service to the whole area was expected to be restored by 12:30 a.m., Murmane said.
