Overhaul at LATC: Los Angeles Theatre Center on Tuesday revised its upcoming season. Three shows were canceled: Steve Carter’s “Pecong,” the Latino Theatre Lab production of “Some of My Best Friends Are . . . “ and Bill Rauch’s staging of “The Comedy of Errors.” The new bookings are Lee Grant’s staging of Mel Shapiro’s “The Lay of the Land” (Oct. 17-Dec. 8) and the premiere of Peter Parnell’s “Flaubert’s Latest” (Jan. 16-Feb. 16). The third replacement will be announced later. Two openings were postponed: “The Night of the Iguana” from Aug. 8 to Sept. 26, and “Aven’u Boys” from Nov. 7 to Nov. 21.
