SBA Backs Colonial: Colonial Bank in Santa Ana has been certified by a federal agency to make business loans backed partly by government guarantees.
The Small Business Administration, which backs the loans, approved the 4-year-old bank’s SBA program. Kirby Schnebly, a senior vice president, heads Colonial’s SBA division.
