Alhambra : Raise for Bilingual Workers
The City Council on Monday approved an extra $50 a month for employees who are bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese or Vietnamese.
The raise applies to all four of the city’s employee groups but excludes workers who do not have regular contact with the public. The pay is retroactive to Jan. 1.
