Raider defensive end Howie Long isn’t looking forward to traveling to Tokyo for Saturday’s exhibition against the Miami Dolphins.

“It’s a pain in the . . . , to be perfectly honest with you,” Long said. “I’m not thrilled about it. I like it right here. You get on a plane and you’ve got to go through the whole thing and fly across the water. And all these kind of different customs on top of having to work.

“I understand what they’re doing. They’re going to hit that pay-per-view (TV) and everyone’s going to make millions but me.”

Rookie quarterback Todd Marinovich, who sat out the Raiders’ 24-17 exhibition defeat against the San Francisco 49ers last Saturday, expects to make his NFL debut Saturday in Tokyo.

“I got a little more work today than I usually get, so that might be a good sign,” Marinovich said after Monday’s practice. “I think I’ll get a few series this week, so I’m looking forward to it.”

Wide receiver Mike Alexander, whose father suffered a heart attack, left the team and flew home to Piscataway, N.J. Keith Wright, waived last week, rejoined the team, replacing Alexander.
