An Elk’s Lodge is offering a reward for information leading to the safe return of a 9-year-old San Diego girl who has been missing for about two weeks.

Elk’s Lodge members are hoping the fund will help police find Rasheeyda Wilson, who disappeared from downtown San Diego on July 15.

The $10,000 reward will be funded by a series of events put on by the Clementine McDuff Elk’s Lodge on Hensley Street. The first fund-raiser is a dance Friday at 8 p.m.

If Rasheeyda is not returned safely and her body is found later, the reward will go toward information leading to the arrest or conviction of her killer, said Elk’s Lodge member James Wilburn.

Police do not know if Rasheeyda was abducted or ran away, said Sgt. Jimmy McCaskill.

She was last seen playing on a fire escape at 830 12th Ave. The manager of the building had asked her to get off the escape, saying it was unsafe. Rasheeyda obeyed, left the area and has not been seen since.

Rasheeyda is black, 5-foot-2 and weighs about 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white shirt with pink-and-green designs on the shoulder pads.
