A Poway man suspected of being the “B.O. Bandit,” so called because of his noticeable body odor, was arrested in connection with a series of robberies in San Diego County.

Robert Harper Norris, 45, was arrested Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of robbing three banks in San Diego and Escondido between June 11 and July 29, authorities said.

In addition, he is also the prime suspect in about a dozen bank robberies in San Diego, San Marcos, Oceanside and Escondido that began May 16, authorities said.
