Here are some places to see hot rods in North County:
Vista Main Street Rod Run. On Sunday, downtown Vista will be the site of the second annual Main Street Rod Run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. East Broadway and East Vista Way from Citrus to South Santa Fe avenues will be closed to regular traffic. About 250 vintage hot rods up to the 1972 models will be featured. Proceeds go to the nonprofit Town Center Assn. For information, call 724-8822.
Annual Fallbrook Classic Car Show. Held at Fallbrook High School on Memorial Day Weekend. For more information, call Red Hanson 728-4343.
T-Bird Diner, 601 N. Broadway, Escondido. Cruise nights are held every Tuesday and Thursday. For information, call 480-2473.
Peppertree Frosty, 270 S. Santa Fe, Vista. Cars gather on the second Saturday of every month during the spring and summer until Oct. 12. For information, call 726-0732.
