Malibu : Burbank Man Dies in Crash
A 59-year-old Burbank man died Monday after his Rolls-Royce hurtled over an embankment and rolled down a hillside between Malibu and Calabasas, the California Highway Patrol said.
Donald Eugene Harrison was driving east on Stunt Road, just east of Saddle Peak, when he apparently lost control of his car, CHP Officer Levy Barnes said. The Rolls Royce, traveling at high speed, struck the hillside and veered over the embankment, he said.
The car apparently struck a clump of trees and flipped over several times, partially ejecting Harrison, who was pinned between the vehicle and the ground, Barnes said.
Harrison was dead when paramedics arrived.
