Bill Cartwright, a 7-foot-1 center for the Chicago Bulls, said he reached a contract agreement Wednesday with Bull General Manager Jerry Krause but that Krause reduced the team’s offer Thursday.
Cartwright, 34, an unrestricted free agent, earned $1.5 million last season, when he averaged 9.6 points and 6.2 rebounds a game.
