A 20-year-old man was found stabbed to death early Saturday in the back yard of a home in North Park, police said.

Vincent Theodor Brown, who lived on Tulip Street in the Chollas Creek section of San Diego, was found lying face down and covered by tarps behind a house in the 4300 block of Dwight Street shortly after 6 a.m., said a San Diego Police spokesman.

The person who owned the home claimed not to know Brown and called police, who linked the victim’s death to a stabbing shortly after midnight in the 3600 block of 43rd Street in East San Diego, a block away from where Brown died.

Police said late Saturday that Brown was stabbed in the same gang-related incident in which a 15-year-old victim was stabbed repeatedly and that Brown ran from the scene, before collapsing in the back yard of the house on Dwight Street. The 15-year-old was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Three suspects--Marlin Wilson, 18, William Aluqdah, 18, and Jerauld Harrell, 19--were arrested late Saturday and booked into County Jail on suspicion of murder, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy. All were being held without bail and will be arraigned Tuesday.
