Nude Body Identified
Authorities have identified a woman who was found dead Sunday in a vacant East San Diego garage.
A landlord checking her property found Shelia Lorene Dotson, 33, nude on the concrete floor of the garage in the 3600 block of Van Dyke Avenue about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, San Diego Police Lt. Dan Berglund said.
Dotson, who was a transient, was strangled to death, said Chuck Kelly, a medical examiner’s investigator.
Berglund said the tenants who had been living in the apartment appear to have moved.
