Happy Birthday, Willa: Humorist Garrison Keillor plans a live, two-hour broadcast on National Public Radio Dec. 7 from Red Cloud, Neb., to mark writer Willa Cather’s birth in 1873. Cather spent her childhood in the small south-central Nebraska town and it inspired such books as “My Antonia,” “O Pioneers!” and “Song of the Lark.”
