Vanilli Suit Bounced: A federal judge in Baton Rouge, La., has thrown out an irate fan’s lawsuit against the pop group Milli Vanilli. The judge found the suit “riddled with deficiencies” and said Tracie R. Johnson, 28, never proved that Arista Records Inc. schemed to defraud the public by selling recordings purportedly made by the lip-syncing duo. At least two dozen other cases on the same matter are still in courts across the country.
