Lynn Johnson, assistant principal of Fillmore Senior High School, has been named principal of the school.
Fillmore Unified School District officials said Wednesday that Johnson, 44, was chosen from three top candidates interviewed for the position Tuesday.
Johnson has been assistant principal of Fillmore High for one year. The Moorpark resident replaces Jamie Castellanos, who left this summer after three years in Fillmore to become principal of Buena High School in Ventura.
The Fillmore position pays $55,000 to $64,000, depending on experience, district officials said.
