Nation IN BRIEF : NEW YORK : Teen-Ager Indicted in Stabbing Death

A grand jury in New York City indicted a teen-ager in the fatal stabbing of a rabbinical student in last week’s racial violence that began when a car driven by a Hasidic Jew jumped a curb and killed a black child in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights section. Lemerick Nelson Jr. was charged with murder in the slaying of Yankel Rosenbaum, 29, as well as illegal weapons possession. Nelson, who is black, was being held without bail.
