Forward Charles Oakley of the New York Knicks was charged with assault and disorderly conduct for pushing and threatening a busboy at an Atlanta restaurant, police said.
Atlanta police officer E.E. Earls said he broke up an argument between Oakley and the busboy early Monday. Oakley was in Atlanta to play in a Sunday charity game sponsored by the Hawks’ Dominique Wilkins.
