A New Son: It’s a boy for KCBS Channel 2 news anchors Bree Walker and Jim Lampley. Aaron James Lampley was born early Wednesday morning, weighing just under eight pounds. It is the couple’s first child, though Lampley has two daughters and Walker has one from previous marriages. A spokeswoman for the couple said the baby was born with ectrodactylism, the same physical impairment of the hands and feet with which both Walker and her 3-year-old daughter were born. The genetic defect was the subject of a recent controversial radio talk show and newspaper columns and editorials.
