Edison Suspends 2 Workers in Long Beach: Southern California Edison Co. has suspended two employees in one of its Long Beach field offices for “violating internal procedures,” a spokeswoman said. Edison spokeswoman Becky Rounds declined to identify the employees or to detail the nature of the alleged violations, but said the company was conducting an investigation and would release results next week. A source said the employees were supervisors suspected of misappropriating company funds.
