Jackie Wackie, ridden by Pat Day, won a three-horse photo finish in the $300,000 Secretariat Stakes at Arlington International Racecourse near Chicago.
Olympio, with Eddie Delahoussaye up, was the 13-10 favorite making his debut on turf. He was on the lead for more than six furlongs before finishing second, ahead of Sultry Song in the 1 1/4-mile event for 3-year-olds. Fraise was a close fourth.
Jackie Wackie won in 2:01 1/5 under 123 pounds and paid $16, $5.40 and $4. Olympio returned $3.60 and the show price on Sultry Song was $4.
