Breast-Feeding Is Natural
I am very upset after reading the article about the nursing mother at the Ventura County Fair. When are people going to wake up and realize that breast-feeding is the way nature intended a baby to be fed?
There is nothing disgusting or shameful about nursing a baby, especially if it is done discreetly. The fair volunteer who asked Julianna Krolak to “do that somewhere else” must be living in the Dark Ages. (No, I take that back--since, in the Dark Ages, everyone nursed their babies. Feeding babies with artificial milk is a relatively new method.) I hope in the near future that any woman can feel free to breast-feed her baby in public, without the fear of being confronted, as long as she can nurse her baby discreetly.
