OUTLOOK

Where’s the beef? Look no further than the Mustangs’ sophomore linemen, three of the biggest in the league. “The big question with us is how our sophomores can adjust coming out of the freshman program,” Baldwin said. The Mustangs, Baldwin said, will miss graduate Quoc Pham, an all-league running back who’s now at Orange Coast College. “We don’t have as many stars, but everyone is better this year,” Baldwin said. Johnny Ospino is back after sitting out last season with grade problems. Harbor, last year’s junior varsity quarterback, has an edge over Nebling for the starting varsity job. Nebling will be the backup quarterback, a wide receiver and a defensive back. Park, who led the league in sacks last year with 15, is one of the top defensive linemen in the county.
