Watch Out for Thieves
In the Thomas Bradley International Terminal at LAX, I experienced something that shouldn’t happen in the security area. I am referring to my camera being stolen from the area where items collect after passing beneath the X-ray camera while I was being searched with a hand-held metal detector. Upon checking with security personnel, lost and found departments, an information booth and airport police, I was told that nothing could be done about it.
Because of such an occurrence, I will be certain in the future to insist on being allowed to face that conveyor belt area where items collect after passing beneath the X-ray camera.
