Man Accused in Killing of Friend Found in Box

NEW YORK —
A rooming house resident was charged with murder in the stabbing death of a man whose body was found stuffed in a bloody cardboard box dumped on a Park Avenue sidewalk, police said Sunday.
John Boyle, 45, was arrested after his fingerprints tied him to the victim, whom police identified as his 33-year-old roommate. Boyle was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
