Acqua Group to Offer Stock to Raise $5 Million

Acqua Group Inc., a Van Nuys marketer of water coolers, said it plans a secondary offering of common stock later this year that it hopes will raise about $5 million.

Proceeds from the offering would be used to expand the company’s operations, Acqua said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Acqua issued its first securities to the public last December, when it sold 500,000 units that consisted of common stock and warrants that entitle their holders to buy additional common shares under certain conditions.
