‘Killer Bees’ in U.S. Sting Man 300 Times

MCALLEN, Tex. —
Africanized bees attacked and stung a 65-year-old man more than 300 times in the first major attack by so-called “killer bees” in the United States, authorities said.
Adan Garza was listed in stable condition Thursday at Mission Hospital, a nursing supervisor said.
“He ran but he was unable to outrun them,” she said.
