Nintendo Loses One in Court: Lewis Galoob Toys said a federal court approved its right to recover damages from Nintendo of America and denied a Nintendo motion to dismiss its bond. Galoob said the U.S. District Court of Northern California will set the amount of recovery later this year. Nintendo had to post a $15-million bond to cover losses or damages to Galoob due to it being improperly enjoined from selling its new Game Genie video game enhancer. The court found in July that Game Genie did not infringe on Nintendo copyrights.
