Teacher Guilty of Killing Prostitute in Church Lot

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A jury on Friday convicted a high school teacher of murdering a prostitute by stabbing her 55 times during a fight in a church parking lot over money. The Kent County jury deliberated about seven hours before convicting Richard A. Jensen Jr. of second-degree murder in the March 17 slaying of Kerry Mansfield. No sentencing date was set.
