The FBI has arrested six more suspects in connection with the seizure several months ago of 73 tons of hashish, believed to be the largest such confiscation in U.S. history. Four Americans and two Canadians, all men, are being held without bail, FBI spokeswoman Gloria Anderson said Friday. Fifteen people had already been arrested in the case. Five of the new suspects were arrested Wednesday near Clear Lake, about 90 miles north of San Francisco, and the sixth on Thursday in Seattle. In June, undercover agents of the U.S. Coast Guard seized two tons of the drug as it was being brought from Afghanistan aboard the ship Lucky Star, but rough seas made it impossible to unload the remaining drugs. Less than a month later, however, the final 71 tons of hashish was seized by a Navy ship, and the Lucky Star was taken to Honolulu, where 14 crew members and one passenger were arrested.
