Storms Bring Light Shows

A series of storms, including a large one in the desert near Barstow, streaked through the Southern California skies Sunday, bringing thunder and strange light patterns but little rain in most areas.
Lightning illuminated clouds over the San Fernando Valley as the late afternoon and evening storms developed from Ojai south and east to Ontario and San Bernardino.
