They Don’t Conserve Strength of Opinion: It’s Gross Not to Hustle
- Share via
Kudos to Mike Downey for supporting the fans for booing Kevin Gross’ lackadaisical “run” to first base.
The Dodger bullpen has proved all year that no lead is safe and the one-run final score that day was another reminder.
If I am paying my money to see a National League game, I expect every player, including the pitcher, to hustle on every play. If Mr. Gross wants to be a part-time player, I suggest he contact the Angels, who, complete with a designated hitter, are still looking for a fifth starter.
