Syncor International Corp., a Chatsworth operator of pharmacy centers that serve doctors and health care facilities, reported a 51% jump in profit in the fiscal first quarter that ended Aug. 31, while revenues increased 31%.
Syncor said it earned $1.61 million in the latest quarter, in contrast to a $1.07-million profit a year earlier. Revenues rose to $47.3 million from $36 million.
