Happy to Purchase a Realistic Doll

I must get one of the Happy to Be Me dolls (“Throwing Barbie a Curve,” Aug. 20).

I am an adult woman who has been brainwashed by the Barbie/Beauty Conspiracy concerning women’s body image. Intellectually I know they’ve lied, but emotionally I am stuck thinking only anorexic-looking women are worthwhile. I’m sure the Happy to Be Me doll will be helpful in ridding myself of this oppressive belief system.
