Discordant Note: The Mozart Camerata is offering 50% discounts to subscribers of its financially troubled competitor, the Orange County Chamber Orchestra, which has had to cancel half its 1991-92 season. Orange County arts observer say they are shocked by the move, with one official likening the half-price sale to “kicking a colleague when he’s down.” Camerata board member Ken Dufour said the 50% deal was simply an “offer to come and take a look at us. There’s nothing more than that.”
