Claremont : Gay Pride Event Scheduled

The Pomona Valley Pride Festival, sponsored by the Pomona-San Gabriel Valley Gay and Lesbian Coalition and other groups, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park, 840 N. Indian Hill Blvd.

Rob Eichberg, co-founder of National Coming Out Day, will be the keynote speaker for the festival, whose theme is “Coming Out Together.”

The free event will include entertainment by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, Second Wind and the Pacific Coast Freedom Band.
