Textile Exports Are Booming: Textile exports will reach a record $10.1 billion this year, analysts forecast. Exports through September were at $7.7 billion, 15.7% more than in the same period of 1990. The value of textile exports is well ahead of such exports as electronics ($5.3 billion), machinery ($4.3 billion) and information and communications products ($3.6 billion).
