Austrian and Soviet Cosmonauts Return
MOSCOW —
Two Soviet cosmonauts and the first Austrian in space returned to Earth on Thursday after a mission in which they studied the effects of weightlessness on plants.
The Soyuz TM-12 landing vehicle touched down safely in the Kazakhstan republic in Central Asia, the Tass news agency said.
