COLLEGE FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : UCLA : Receiver Moore Is Doubtful Saturday
Split end Michael Moore is suffering from a shoulder injury and is regarded as doubtful for Saturday night’s game against Arizona at the Rose Bowl.
Moore has been used extensively in a formation involving three wide receivers along with Sean LaChapelle and Paul Richardson. He has caught seven passes for an average of 17.1 yards a reception.
Cornerback Dion Lambert, inactive because of a foot injury since the opening game against Brigham Young, isn’t expected to play. Nor is fullback Kevin Smith, who has a sprained left knee.
Free safety Othello Henderson and fullback Kaleaph Carter, who were injured in last Saturday’s 27-24 loss to California, will play.
Representatives from the Aloha, John Hancock, Freedom, Peach and Independence bowls will attend Saturday night’s game.
