Tom Celli calls Brad Davis a dead coward (Letters, Oct. 6).

But Celli wrote too soon. First, he should have conducted his own experiment for six months or longer: Telling everyone he knows--family, relatives, friends, employer, co-workers, landlord, neighbors--that he has AIDS.

He would find out firsthand whether it makes a difference in his life.
