TIME ON MY SIDE: Keith Clark, above, founded the Pacific Symphony then was ousted by the orchestra’s board in 1989. He keeps his Fullerton address but is often on the road. He spends up to two weeks each month in New Jersey, where he is music director of the Newark Symphony, and travels to Europe. And he recently completed a choral work. “I’m more active in my composing than I was in my Pacific years,” Clark says.
