Former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie of the British Columbia Lions broke Warren Moon’s Canadian Football League season record of 5,648 yards passing Saturday night. Flutie passed for 582 yards in the Lions’ 45-38 overtime loss to Edmonton and now has 5,676 yards. Moon set the record while with Edmonton in 1983.
