PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Brown’s Recovery Appears Complete
After sitting out the 1989 season because of a knee injury, Raider wide receiver Tim Brown seems fully recovered.
Brown had six catches for 72 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders’ 23-20 overtime victory at Seattle on Sunday. He helped keep the Raiders’ score-tying drive alive by catching a three-yard pass on fourth and three at the Seahawk 41, setting up Jeff Jaeger’s 49-yard field goal that sent the game into overtime at 20-20.
Although he is used primarily on third down, Brown has caught 17 passes for 207 yards.
