RETAIL/LEISURE : Taco Bell Keeping Eye Out for Better Deal on Office Space
- Share via
Taco Bell Corp. is scouting the area to see if it can get a better deal on office space for its corporate headquarters.
“We are evaluating the marketplace. We continually do that,” said Taco Bell spokesman Eliot Bloom.
The company’s lease on its 10-story tower in Koll Center Irvine runs through 1996, Bloom said. It has not retained a real estate firm to find an alternative site, but looks every year to see if it can find a better deal on a building for its 650 workers.
Office vacancy rates have been high in the county for several years, and that has driven down leasing rates all over.
