Casey Officially Named to RTC Job: Directors of the Resolution Trust Corp. formally appointed former American Airlines Chairman Albert V. Casey as president and chief executive. Casey succeeds L. William Seidman, who left office Wednesday. As expected, directors are giving Casey broad new authority in several areas, including personnel, litigation-related decisions and asset sales.
