Fries Bankruptcy Petition Details Major Creditors: Fries Entertainment Inc. listed total assets of $97 million and total liabilities of $94.6 million in a Chapter 11 petition filed with U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Los Angeles. The Hollywood-based producer and distributor of TV movies said its largest unsecured creditor is $24.9 million in subordinated debentures, followed by $3.4 million owed to Columbia Pictures TV for film library acquisitions, $2.5 million in residuals owed to various guilds and a $2.3-million promissory note owed to Technicolor Videocassette Inc., a North Hollywood-based videotape duplication firm.
