Kidnaped Ex-Official Rescued by India Troops

SRINAGAR, India —
The Indian army rescued a former Kashmiri state minister and her husband kidnaped by militants more than a month ago, police said Friday.
They said Khemla Wakhloo, and her husband O. N. Wakhloo, abducted Sept. 4, were freed after a tip led the army to the kidnapers’ hide-out.
